Reiki system is broken down into the following stages;
Shoden
Okuden

Often split into two -Master Practitioner, and Master Teacher
A school of Reiki tought by Kyozou Ogawa in Japan offers 6 levels or stages. The highest available is Okuden Koeki or level 1.
When a capable student is invited to take the Shinpiden or teacher training level they learn the methods of how to teach the information and techniques as well as the attunements for all 6 levels of Reiki. In this system, the levels are broken down as;
Level 6 - Dai Loku Tou
Level 5 - Dai Go Tou
Level 4 - Dai Yon Tou
Level 3 - Dai San Tou
Level 2 - Okuden Zenki
Level 1 - Okuden Koeki

Reiki First Degree
This is for anyone who wants to understand Reiki and activate their ability to heal themselves, then members of their family and their friends, including babies, children and animals.
Reiki Second Degree
This is for anyine who has completed Reiki First degree who wishes to deepen their Reiki practice and understanding, whether for self-treatment or for healing family and friends. It includes how to heal from a distance. This level is a pre-requisite for practitioners.
Reiki Master's Level 1
Master Practitioner
This level is for anyone who wishes to work towoard finding spirtual enlightenment and gaining personal mastery. If you decide to progress to this level, strong commitment to self healing will lead you to a deeper understanding of universal energy and the meaning of conciousness.
Reiki Masters level 2
Teacher
This level is for experienced practitioners who have completed the other levels, and now wish to teach Reiki to others. Training for this level requires great dedication as it can take several years. Some Masters take on students for mastership by invitation only.
